PeopleCert owns and runs the ITIL and PRINCE2 certification schemes. ITIL covers how IT services are managed and delivered. PRINCE2 is a structured project management method used widely in the UK, Europe and the public sector.

ITIL Foundation (Version 5)
New version of ITIL Foundation, launched in 2026.
ITIL Foundation Bridge (Version 5)
20-question bridge exam for ITIL 4 Foundation holders. Retires 31 December 2027.
PRINCE2 7 Foundation
Entry-level PRINCE2 (7th edition) exam.
PRINCE2 7 Practitioner
Applying PRINCE2 to a scenario. Needs a qualifying prerequisite such as PRINCE2 Foundation or PMP.

- IT service management roles (ITIL)
- Project management roles, especially in the UK and Europe (PRINCE2)
- Government and consultancy tenders that ask for ITIL or PRINCE2

- ITIL Foundation: 65% to pass. PRINCE2 7 Foundation and Practitioner: 60% to pass.
- Validity
- Renewal every three years: earn 60 CPD points (through PeopleCert Plus) or pass another exam in the same product suite before the renewal date.

Exam seats for PeopleCert (ITIL & PRINCE2) are booked and paid on the test owner's own system. Delivered through: PeopleCert Online Exam Centre and PeopleCert Accredited Training Organisations.

Buy online at peoplecert.org for an online proctored exam, or take the exam through a PeopleCert Accredited Training Organisation.

Choose an approved test centre from the test owner's centre list.

Book your date with that centre; it confirms the fee and its policies.

Keep your confirmation and check the ID rules before test day.
